Jabra Releases Updates for Elite Wireless Earbuds
Discover the latest Jabra Elite earbuds updates for clearer calls and improved ANC in windy conditions. Available now through the Sound+ app.

Jabra has launched updates for its Elite 8 Active and Elite 10 earbuds, aiming to enhance audio quality and functionality. These updates, accessible via the Sound+ app, introduce features like improved noise cancellation and call clarity, especially in noisy environments, and better performance in windy conditions.

Key Highlights:

  • Enhanced noise blocking for clearer calls with the Elite 10.
  • Improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and HearThrough for the Elite 8 Active in windy situations.
  • The updates are delivered through the Sound+ app and are available to all users at no extra charge.

Enhanced Communication with Elite 10

The Elite 10 earbuds have received updates to improve sound quality, especially in terms of noise reduction during calls. New algorithms have been implemented to better cancel out voices from surrounding people, aiming for clearer call quality. Additionally, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is now available during calls, purportedly doubling the efficiency of background voice blocking. This feature is designed to optimize call clarity in noisy settings such as offices, restaurants, and busy streets.

Optimized Outdoor Performance for Elite 8 Active

The Elite 8 Active earbuds are now equipped with improved ANC and HearThrough capabilities, specifically tailored for use in windy conditions. This enhancement comes from a software upgrade that utilizes dual-microphone technology for more accurate wind noise detection and smoother transitions to wind mode. The update aims to offer users a better music listening experience and awareness while running or working out outdoors.

Seamless Updates

The firmware updates for both the Elite 8 Active and Elite 10 are available to all Jabra users, new and existing. These can be easily installed over-the-air through the Jabra Sound+ app, with no additional costs involved.

In delivering these updates, Jabra focuses on improving the user experience by enhancing audio quality and functionality. These changes are a part of Jabra’s commitment to providing quality sound solutions and support for hybrid work environments and outdoor activities.
