Chinese smartwatch brand Amazfit has unveiled its latest offering, the T-Rex 3, in India. This new smartwatch features a rugged design built to withstand extreme environments and can be submerged up to 100 meters underwater. The T-Rex 3 boasts an impressive battery life of up to 27 days and seamlessly integrates with the Zepp app. A standout feature of this smartwatch is its support for GPS connectivity and the integration of OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4 AI assistant.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 is priced at Rs. 19,999 in India and will be available for purchase starting September 27th on Amazon and the Amazfit India website. A new Lava color variant is also slated for release in October. Currently, the smartwatch is available for pre-orders.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 showcases a circular 1.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 480 x 480 pixels resolution and an impressive 2,000 nits of peak brightness. It also features Gorilla Glass protection and runs on ZeppOS 4. The smartwatch supports over 170 preset workout modes and seamlessly connects with the Zepp App.
A key highlight of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 is its voice command capability through Zepp Flow, powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 7.0 or iOS 14.0. The smartwatch incorporates GPS navigation and provides various options for GPS data storage, allowing users to choose between permanent or temporary cloud storage. It also offers 26GB of internal storage.

The T-Rex 3 is equipped with a 700 mAh battery, which is claimed to provide up to 27 days of battery life with typical usage. In battery-saver mode, users can expect close to 40 days of battery life. The smartwatch also features 170 workout modes, including new additions like Hyrox Race mode, Freediving, Ultramarathon, and an upgraded Strength Training mode.
