Tata Nexon iCNG Launched at ₹8.99 Lakh: Sunroof, Safety, and Savings!

Tata Nexon iCNG Launched at ₹8.99 Lakh

Tata Motors is making waves in the Indian automotive market with a series of exciting updates to its popular Nexon lineup. Following a recent facelift, the company has now introduced a CNG variant of its subcompact SUV, the Nexon iCNG, starting at ₹8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition to this, Tata has also rolled out updates for the Nexon EV, boosting its range, and introduced a striking Red Dark Edition to its Dark variant range.

2024 Tata Nexon iCNG: Power and Efficiency

The Nexon iCNG is powered by the existing 1.2L turbo-petrol engine, now tuned to deliver a peak power output of 100 Hp and 170 Nm of maximum torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and boasts a fuel economy of 24 km/kg.

2024 Tata Nexon iCNG: Practicality and Safety

Tata Motors’ dual-cylinder technology ensures a usable boot space of 321 litres in the Nexon iCNG, with the spare tire relocated under the body. The SUV prioritizes safety with 6 airbags, ESP, and other features as standard across all variants. Additionally, the introduction of CNG variants brings a large panoramic sunroof and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster with navigation display to the Nexon. A total of 8 variants will be available.

2024 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition: Bold Styling

The new Red Dark Edition is set to turn heads with its distinctive design. Building on the success of its Dark Editions across models like the Harrier and Safari, Tata has extended this treatment to the Nexon, offering a more flamboyant look with an updated interior.

2024 Tata Nexon EV: Extended Range

The Nexon EV receives a significant update with a larger 45 kWh battery pack, promising a claimed range of 489 km. While real-world range is expected to be around 350-370 km, this enhancement addresses a key concern for potential EV buyers. The updated Nexon EV is priced from ₹13.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Conclusion

With these comprehensive updates, Tata Motors is demonstrating its commitment to innovation and meeting the diverse needs of Indian car buyers. The Nexon iCNG offers a practical and fuel-efficient option, the Red Dark Edition caters to those seeking a stylish SUV, and the Nexon EV with its extended range further solidifies Tata’s position in the electric vehicle segment.
