POCO M7 Pro nears launch after IMDA certification. It packs 5G, NFC, and dual cameras. Could be a rebranded Redmi Note 14 5G with HyperOS.

The IMDA certification, as observed by MySmartPrice, verifies the model number 2409FPCC4G for the POCO M7 Pro. The listing also mentions the brand as “POCO”.

POCO M7 Pro: What We Know So Far

A recent FCC listing for the POCO M7 Pro, with the same model number 2409FPCC4G, provides some additional insights. It suggests that the phone will run on HyperOS 1.0 custom skin and will include NFC support. The base variant of the phone could offer 128GB of storage, with the possibility of a 256GB version at launch.

Live images included in the FCC document reveal a large square camera module on the back, housing dual camera sensors, POCO branding, and an LED flash. The image also suggests a green color option with a potential dual-tone design. Other anticipated features include a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and flat edges. The volume rocker and power button will be located on the right side of the phone.

The FCC document hints that the POCO M7 Pro could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 14 5G. The primary distinction between the two might lie in the camera setup. The Redmi model is rumored to have triple cameras, whereas the POCO offering might feature only dual camera sensors.

The POCO M7 Pro is expected to be the successor to the popular POCO M6 Pro and will further expand POCO’s M-series lineup.
