CNG Models Fuel Sales Momentum Amidst Evolving Consumer Preferences

Reflecting a growing trend towards alternative fuel options, Hyundai has witnessed a surge in demand for its CNG offerings. CNG models contributed significantly to the September sales figures, accounting for 13.8% of the total volume. This surge is spearheaded by the Hyundai Exter and Grand i10 Nios, models that cater to the rising demand for fuel-efficient and eco-conscious mobility solutions. Furthermore, Hyundai’s SUV lineup, led by the Creta, Venue, and Exter, demonstrated its continued popularity, collectively contributing to 70% of the company’s overall sales in September 2024. This highlights the strategic importance of SUVs in Hyundai’s product portfolio and their resonance with the Indian market.

Revamped Hyundai Alcazar Enhances Competitive Edge in the SUV Segment

In a move to strengthen its presence in the fiercely competitive SUV market, Hyundai recently launched the facelifted Hyundai Alcazar, with prices starting at ₹14.99 lakh. This updated model marks a significant departure from its predecessor, showcasing a comprehensive redesign both inside and out. The exterior now exudes a more contemporary and assertive aesthetic, characterized by H-shaped LED DRLs, Quad Beam LED headlights, a bolder grille design, and more prominent skid plates. This design language aligns with the refreshed Creta launched earlier this year, reinforcing a cohesive brand identity across Hyundai’s SUV range.

Alcazar’s Diverse Variants and Feature-Rich Interior Cater to Varied Customer Needs

The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar caters to a wide range of customer preferences with its four distinct variants: Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature. Furthermore, recognizing the diverse needs of Indian families, the Alcazar offers both six-seater and seven-seater configurations, enhancing its versatility and appeal.

Stepping inside the new Alcazar reveals a refined and sophisticated cabin. The introduction of a new dual-tone noble brown and haze navy color scheme creates a premium ambiance. The dashboard has been modernized with a dual-screen setup, featuring a 10.25-inch digital touchscreen infotainment system alongside a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.

Cutting-Edge Technology and Comprehensive Features Elevate the Driving Experience

The Alcazar is equipped with an array of advanced features designed to elevate the driving experience. These include dual-zone automatic climate control, ensuring optimal comfort for all occupants, wireless charging for seamless device connectivity, and an 8-speaker Bose premium sound system for an immersive audio experience. Additional features like a panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats for second-row passengers further enhance the Alcazar’s appeal, positioning it as a compelling offering in its segment.

Hyundai Alcazar Poised to Challenge Established Rivals in the Indian Market

With its comprehensive updates, the Hyundai Alcazar is primed to take on established competitors in the Indian SUV landscape. It will contend with popular models like the Kia Carens, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and MG Hector Plus, all vying for a share of this highly sought-after market segment. The Alcazar’s blend of style, features, and versatility positions it as a strong contender in this competitive arena.
