Lava Agni 3 Launched in India with Dual Displays and iPhone-like Action Key

Lava has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Lava Agni 3, featuring a unique dual-display design and a customizable Action key similar to the one found on recent iPhone models. The Lava Agni 3 succeeds the Agni 2 and boasts several upgrades while remaining in a similar price range.

Lava Agni 3: Pricing and Availability

The Lava Agni 3 is available in three variants:

  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage (without charger): Rs. 20,999
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage (with 66W charger): Rs. 22,999
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage (with charger): Rs. 24,999

Pre-orders are open on Amazon India for Rs. 499, with sales commencing on October 9th. Pre-booking customers can purchase the phone on October 8th. Attractive exchange offers are available for existing Agni 2 users. The phone comes in two color options: Heather Glass and Pristine Glass.

Lava Agni 3 Specifications

  • Display: The Lava Agni 3 sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D curved primary display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features a 1.74-inch AMOLED secondary screen on the back, positioned next to the camera module.
  • Processor: Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor, the same chipset found in the Motorola Razr 50 foldable phone.
    RAM and Storage: 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, along with 8GB of virtual RAM for enhanced performance.
  • Cameras: A 50MP primary sensor with OIS + EIS, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom + EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP front-facing camera with EIS.
  • Battery and Charging: A 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
  • Software: Runs Android 14 out of the box, with promises of two Android upgrades and four years of security updates.
  • Other Features: Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a USB Type-C port, and a large vapor chamber cooling system.

Lava Agni 3 Key Features

The Lava Agni 3 differentiates itself with its unique secondary display, reminiscent of the Mi 11 Ultra. This secondary screen can function as a viewfinder for the primary camera, enabling users to take high-quality selfies. It also supports call handling, notifications, and various apps like music players, fitness trackers, and voice recorders.

Another standout feature is the customizable Action button, similar to the one introduced on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 series. This button can be configured for various functions such as silencing calls, launching apps, and taking screenshots.
