Vivo is set to launch its highly anticipated X200 series on October 14th, featuring three models: the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. This flagship lineup boasts cutting-edge technology, including the world’s first LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM and the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, promising superior performance. However, the real highlight of the X200 series lies in its camera capabilities.
Zeiss-Tuned Optics and Enhanced Zoom Capabilities
Vivo is emphasizing an “overhauled camera experience” with the X200 series, achieved through a collaboration with Zeiss for its optics. A key feature is the improved 200MP periscope camera with a 135mm focal length, offering a dedicated telephoto super-stage mode. Sample images released by Vivo demonstrate impressive results even at 20x zoom, with minimal noise and quality loss.
Advanced Camera Features and Modes
The X200 series introduces several other camera enhancements, including an improved telephoto macro mode and a dedicated super landscape mode. The X200 Pro will feature a 50MP LYT-818 sensor co-engineered with Sony, promising exceptional image quality. Furthermore, the series will support Live Photos, compatible with Apple’s Live Photo format.
Cinematic Video Recording
Video capabilities are also a significant focus. The X200 series will offer cinematic slow-motion at 4K 120fps and 10-bit LOG across the full focal range. Additionally, the phones can record 4K HDR Cinematic Portrait Video.
Sleek Design and Color Options
Leaked images reveal a striking design for the X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini, featuring a large circular camera module on the back and a boxy chassis. The X200 Pro will be available in black, blue, white, and grey, while the X200 Pro Mini will come in black, pink, green, and white.
