A new ASUS phone, believed to be the ASUS ROG Phone 9, has achieved the highest AnTuTu score to date. This feat comes just ahead of the phone’s global launch later today. The device, identified by the model number ASUSAI2501A, secured an impressive AnTuTu score of 31,21,390. This achievement aligns with the legacy of its predecessor, the ROG Phone 8, which also held the top AnTuTu ranking in June 2024.
Performance and Specifications
The AnTuTu listing reveals that the ASUS ROG Phone 9 boasts 24GB LPDDR5x RAM, 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and runs on Android 15. It is also anticipated that the phone will be available in a 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. The software is expected to incorporate several AI features, further enhancing its performance capabilities.
Display
In line with previous leaks, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 will sport a 185Hz refresh rate display. This builds upon the ROG Phone 8’s adaptive refresh rate, which ranged from 1Hz to 120Hz and could reach 165Hz in gaming mode. The ASUS ROG Phone 9 is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ display.

- Price: The ASUS ROG Phone 9 is expected to be priced higher than its predecessor. A Danish e-commerce website listed the 12+512GB model for DKK 9,838 (approximately Rs 1,17,879.77), while the ROG Phone 8 (16+256GB) launched globally for $1099.99 (around Rs 91,400).
- Design: Renders suggest that the ASUS ROG Phone 9 will not feature an RGB-lit ROG symbol. Instead, the text will have an LED light effect. The phone is expected to be available in Storm White and Phantom Black colors. Its dimensions and weight are anticipated to be comparable to its predecessor, at 227 grams and 8.9mm thickness.
- Cameras: The ASUS ROG Phone 9 is rumored to have a triple rear camera setup (50+13+8MP) and a 32MP front camera.
- Battery: The device is expected to house a 5,800mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
