Microsoft is expanding its Xbox Cloud Gaming service with the addition of three Call of Duty titles, including the upcoming Black Ops 6. This move marks a significant step in integrating Activision’s gaming library into the Xbox ecosystem. Black Ops 6 is set to launch on October 25th, alongside Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, offering gamers more ways to access and play their favorite titles.
Expanding Access with Xbox Cloud Gaming
Xbox Cloud Gaming allows Game Pass Ultimate members to stream games on a variety of devices, including consoles, PCs, mobile devices, and select TVs. The addition of Call of Duty titles to this service provides greater flexibility and convenience for gamers.
Black Ops 6: FSR 3.1 Update and Performance Optimizations
Black Ops 6 will launch with support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 3.1, including FSR Frame Generation technology. This upgrade from the beta’s FSR 3.0 promises smoother frame rates and improved visual fidelity. The game also supports other upscaling technologies like Intel XeSS and NVIDIA DLSS.
To optimize performance, players are encouraged to update their graphics drivers. Recommended specifications for optimal gameplay include an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i7-6700K processor, 12 GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 6600XT or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti / RTX 3060 graphics card.
A Look Back at Black Ops 6’s Development
Activision Blizzard first showcased Black Ops 6 in June during the Call of Duty Direct event. Set during the Cold War, the game will feature various locations, including Russia, the Middle East, the United States, and parts of southern Europe.
