Elista, a rising consumer electronics brand under TeknoDome, has outlined an ambitious global expansion strategy with the goal of reaching Rs 1,500 crore in revenue by 2026. Launched in 2020 amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Elista has quickly transformed from a startup into an international brand with a presence in over 18 countries.
Expanding Footprint
Elista’s recent entry into Tanzania is a key step in its East African expansion. This move builds upon successful launches in regions like the UAE, Africa, the CIS, and parts of Asia, demonstrating the company’s adaptability in diverse markets. The company plans to expand its presence to over 35 countries in the next two years.
Meeting Diverse Needs
Since its first international foray into the UAE market in 2022, Elista has focused on understanding and catering to regional consumer needs. Starting with Smart TVs, the brand’s product portfolio now includes washing machines, air conditioners, coolers, IT accessories, and more. Elista also offers tailored products like water dispensers and batteries in specific global markets.
Manufacturing and “Making in India”
Elista is investing in a new manufacturing facility to produce 1 million Smart TVs and 1 million computer monitors annually. This facility supports Elista’s “Making in India for the World” initiative, emphasizing quality and production efficiency.
Growth Fueled by Innovation and Sustainability
Elista’s growth strategy is driven by a commitment to innovation, affordability, and local manufacturing. The company places a strong emphasis on sustainability and energy-efficient technology. Elista is also dedicated to providing robust after-sales support to build long-term brand loyalty.
A Dual-Focus Strategy
Elista is pursuing a dual-focus strategy that prioritizes both domestic and international growth. The company projects approximately Rs 500 crore in revenue from the Indian market, with the remaining growth coming from international sales. This approach aligns with Elista’s commitment to contributing to India’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ vision.
