Gemini in Indian Languages: Recognizing the importance of linguistic diversity, Google launched Gemini Live in Hindi, with support for 8 more Indian languages coming soon. Google AI Overview is now also available in Bengali, Marathi, and Telugu, in addition to Hindi.
AI for Social Good: Google is leveraging AI for cancer and tuberculosis screening in India, potentially offering these services for free over the next decade.

- Google Maps Updates: Two new features in Google Maps allow users to report and receive alerts about fog and flooding on roads, enhancing real-time navigation and safety.
- Google Pay Advancements: Google Pay now includes UPI Circle, a feature enabling users to request payments from others, and has expanded loan limits to Rs 5 lakh for personal loans and Rs 50 lakh for gold loans.

- Internet Saathi Program: Google has trained over 80,000 women in digital literacy through its Internet Saathi program.
- AI Skills House: A new platform, AI Skills House, will provide AI learning resources for students, educators, and others, awarding digital badges to encourage skill development. This platform aims to reach 10 million Indians and will eventually be available in 7 Indian languages.
- Google.org Grant: Google’s philanthropic arm, Google.org, has committed $4 million to support educational initiatives in India.

- Local Data Storage: All companies in India can now store their Gemini 1.5 Flash data locally.
- Safety Engineering System: Google is bringing its Safety Engineering System to India in 2025, strengthening online safety measures through DigiKavach, its anti-fraud service.
- Clean Energy Commitment: Google announced its goal of achieving 24/7 carbon-free energy and is investing in clean energy infrastructure, including a new solar farm in Gujarat in partnership with the Adani Group. Google has already added 186 MW of clean energy to the Indian grid.
