HONEYWELL (NASDAQ: HON) has reached a notable milestone with its Building Automation Fire Regulatory Lab in India. The lab has secured the prestigious Client Test Data Program (CTDP) accreditation from Underwriters Laboratories (UL). This certification authorizes HONEYWELL to independently perform regulatory testing for fire systems and panels, validating its equipment, processes, and personnel. The achievement strengthens HONEYWELL Technology Solutions (HTS) leadership position within the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and sets a new industry benchmark for testing excellence.
CTDP Accreditation Enhances Testing Autonomy
The CTDP certification allows HONEYWELL Technology Solutions (HTS) to directly conduct regulatory tests and submit the resulting reports to UL for official review and certification. This streamlined process is expected to generate approximately 30% savings in both regulatory costs and turnaround time, significantly enhancing operational efficiency for HONEYWELL’s Fire Systems division.
Years of Focused Effort Leads to Certification
This recognition is the result of dedicated efforts by the HONEYWELL Technology Solutions India Building Automation team. Over the years, the team has established a strong foundation by securing IEC/ISO 17025 accreditation for its EMI/EMC, Thermal, and Vibration laboratories. In the past three years, HONEYWELL has also conducted successful remote witness testing, laying the groundwork for this recent CTDP accreditation.
Raising Standards in Fire Safety
With this latest certification, HONEYWELL Technology Solutions continues to elevate safety standards across the industry. The accreditation will enable faster and more efficient testing processes, further demonstrating HONEYWELL’s dedication to upholding the highest compliance and safety standards for customers. This milestone also reflects HONEYWELL’s broader commitment to advancing innovation and creating a safer, more sustainable future.
