Motorola has quietly launched the Moto G75, a new smartphone boasting the world’s first Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC. The device has been officially listed on Motorola’s European website, revealing its full specifications and design.

Design and Durability

The Moto G75 features a modern, boxy design with flat edges, a flat display, and a polycarbonate chassis. It is available in three color options: Charcoal Grey (matte), Succulent Green (vegan leather), and Aqua Blue. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The phone also boasts IP68 dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, ensuring its durability. For audio, it offers a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support, but it lacks a headphone jack.

Display and Software

The Moto G75 sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It offers a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and includes a Water Touch feature. The phone runs on Android 14 with Motorola’s MyUX skin and comes with the promise of 5 years of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates.

Performance and Battery

As the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, the Moto G75 promises enhanced performance compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. The chipset is built on a 4nm process and features four Cortex-A78 performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The phone is equipped with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be further expanded via a microSD card. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device, supported by 30W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

Camera System

The Moto G75 boasts a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 50MP primary sensor (Sony LYTIA 600) with OIS. This is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera with a 118.6° field of view and macro capability, as well as a flicker sensor. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera.

Price and Availability

The Moto G75 5G is currently available in Europe for CZK 8,999 (approximately Rs 33,317). It is set to go on sale from November 5th. While the phone’s appearance on various certification sites hints at a potential release in other markets like China and India, official confirmation is still pending.

Potential Alternatives

Given the current European pricing, potential alternatives in the Indian market (around the Rs 25,000 price point) with comparable chipsets like the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 or MediaTek Dimensity 7300 might include devices from brands like Xiaomi, Realme, and Samsung.
