Tata Motors has recently announced the pricing details for the automatic versions of its Curvv SUV, a development that follows closely after the release of the petrol and diesel models. Starting at Rs 12.50 lakh, the pricing for these dual-clutch transmission variants was initially undisclosed during last week’s launch of the standard models.
Engine Specifications and Options
The Curvv is available with a selection of engine types to cater to different customer preferences. Buyers can choose from a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 120 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque, a 1.5-litre diesel engine with an output of 118 horsepower, or the newly introduced 1.2-litre TGDI ‘Hyperion’ petrol motor, which offers 125 horsepower and 225 Nm of torque. These engines can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission (MT) or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT).
The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol DCT is offered in six trim levels: Pure+, Pure+ S, Creative, Creative S, Creative+ S, and Accomplished S. Meanwhile, the diesel DCT models are available in Pure+, Pure+ S, Creative S, Creative+ S, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ A trims. The new 1.2-litre TGDI petrol engine is featured in the higher trims, specifically Creative+ S, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ A.
