OnePlus has unveiled its latest true wireless earbuds, the Buds Pro 3, in India and other regions. These earbuds showcase a redesigned pebble-shaped charging case with a premium leather-like finish. The standout feature is the upgraded active noise cancellation (ANC), surpassing the capabilities of its predecessor, the Buds Pro 2. Additional enhancements include dual device connectivity and hi-res audio codec support.
Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 is priced at Rs 11,999 in India and is available in Lunar Radiance and Midnight Opus color options. Prospective buyers can take advantage of bank offers to secure a more attractive deal. The earbuds will be available for purchase starting August 23rd.
Enhanced Audio and ANC
The Buds Pro 3 boast a dual driver configuration, comprising an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. OnePlus asserts that this setup delivers superior sound quality compared to the Buds Pro 2. The ANC functionality is available in both manual and auto modes, intelligently adapting to the surrounding ambient sound levels. The charging case weighs approximately 61 grams, while each earbud is remarkably light at 5.28 grams.
Dynaudio Tuning and Connectivity
OnePlus has once again collaborated with Dynaudio to fine-tune the audio performance of the Buds Pro 3, a partnership previously seen in the Buds Pro 2 and the Oppo Enco X2. Users can customize equalizer settings and other modes through the HeyMelody app. The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4, enabling a low-latency game mode with 90ms latency and seamless dual-device connectivity. While the earbuds have an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance, the charging case unfortunately lacks this protection.
Battery Life and Fast Charging
OnePlus claims a battery life of up to 43 hours for the Buds Pro 3 when used with the charging case, while the earbuds themselves offer 10 hours of playback time. The case supports fast charging, providing 5 hours of playtime with just a 10-minute charge.
