Advanced Display Technology
OnePlus is incorporating an Enhanced Edge Bonding Layer in all its AMOLED display phones. This layer utilizes superior PVX edge-sealing materials, known for their exceptional resistance to weathering and chemicals, making them ideal for enhancing durability in extreme conditions.
The PVX layer acts as a barrier, effectively slowing moisture and oxygen generation, which are identified as the primary causes of the green line issue. This innovation aims to extend the display’s lifespan significantly. OnePlus asserts that this has considerably minimized the occurrences of green lines, even in challenging climates like India’s.
Rigorous Quality Control
OnePlus has amplified its quality control processes. All OnePlus phones now undergo over 180 comprehensive tests simulating real-world conditions, including electrical performance checks, structural assessments, and environmental aging evaluations.
A key test is the “Double 85” test, where displays are subjected to 85-degree centigrade temperatures and 85 percent humidity for extended periods, ensuring resilience in extreme environments.
Lifetime Warranty
To provide further assurance, OnePlus is offering a lifetime warranty against the green line issue on all its smartphones. This warranty extends to both older and newer OnePlus models, ensuring peace of mind for consumers.
