According to a recent leak by the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Realme GT7 Pro will sport a custom Samsung display with an impressive peak brightness of 2000 nits. This surpasses the typical peak brightness seen in most smartphones today, promising exceptional outdoor visibility even under direct sunlight.
The tipster also mentioned that the display will support a manual brightness of up to 1000 nits and will feature DC dimming to minimize eye strain. It appears Realme has opted for a high-quality panel, possibly a customized version of Samsung’s latest display technology.
In addition to the display details, Digital Chat Station reiterated some previously rumored specifications of the Realme GT7 Pro. These include:
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition
- Memory and Storage: Up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage
- Battery: 6000mAh with 120W wired fast charging
- Camera: 50MP main sensor (1/1.56″), 50MP telephoto lens (IMX882, 1/1.95″), 8MP ultrawide lens
- Other features: Qualcomm ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP69 dust and water resistance
The inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, the top-tier Qualcomm chip, suggests that the Realme GT7 Pro will be a performance-focused flagship device. The large battery capacity coupled with 120W fast charging should also provide excellent battery life and quick charging times.
The camera system appears to be a significant upgrade over the previous generation, with a high-resolution telephoto lens using the Sony IMX882 sensor. The addition of IP69 dust and water resistance further enhances the phone’s durability.
While these specifications are based on leaks and rumors, they paint a picture of a highly competitive flagship smartphone from Realme. If the Realme GT7 Pro delivers on these promises, it could be a strong contender in the premium smartphone market.
