The Samsung Galaxy S25 series, comprising the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, is anticipated to launch in the coming months. Despite the official unveiling being some time away, leaks and speculations about the series have already begun circulating, providing tantalizing glimpses into what these new models might offer.
Design Hints from Leaked Images
Recently, leaker Ice Universe posted on X (formerly Twitter) images that appear to show the glass screens of the upcoming Galaxy S25 series phones. One image showcases the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s glass with a privacy screen protector, suggesting the device may feature rounder corners and flat sides. Another image displays the glass for all three models, hinting at a consistent design language across the Galaxy S25 series.
Potential Dimensions and Display
While specific details remain scarce, leaks suggest the Galaxy S25 might measure 146.9 x 70.4 x 7.2mm, making it slightly smaller than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24. However, the screen size is rumored to be around 6.17 inches. Information regarding the display dimensions of the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra is currently unavailable.
It’s worth noting that a recent report indicated the Galaxy S25 Ultra might deviate from the boxy edges of its predecessor, opting for a narrower and taller form factor with rounded edges, similar to the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+.
Expected Specifications and Features
Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 series is predicted to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. This follows the previous generation, which utilized both Exynos and Qualcomm chipsets depending on the market.
Charging speeds may also see improvements. The Galaxy S25 might support 25W charging, while the Galaxy S25+ could offer 45W charging, according to information from the 3C certification site.
Camera capabilities are a key area of interest. Speculations suggest the Galaxy S25 Ultra may boast a 200MP HP2 primary sensor, a significant upgrade from the 12MP sensor on its predecessor. Further enhancements include a 50MP ISOCELL JN3 ultrawide sensor, a 10MP 3x telephoto camera, and a 50MP 5x telephoto camera.
As we get closer to the official launch, more concrete details about the Galaxy S25 series are expected to emerge.
