Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition in South Korea. This enhanced version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 boasts several upgrades, including larger displays, a 200MP camera, and a slimmer, lighter design.

Pricing and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is available in a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, priced at KRW 2,789,600 (approximately Rs 1,70,318). It comes in a Black Shadow color and will be available for purchase starting October 25th through Samsung’s website and other online platforms in South Korea. Special offers on other Samsung products like the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra are available with the purchase of the device. As of now, the Special Edition is exclusive to South Korea, with no information on global availability.

Enhanced Specifications

Displays: The Special Edition features an expanded 8-inch internal display with a 20:18 aspect ratio and a 6.5-inch cover display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, offering more screen real estate compared to the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Processor: It is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset found in the regular model.
Cameras: The Special Edition receives a significant camera upgrade with a 200MP primary wide-angle sensor. The other camera specifications remain consistent with the standard model, including a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, a 10MP selfie camera, and a 4MP under-display camera.
Battery and Charging: The device retains the 4,400mAh battery of the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Software: The Special Edition runs on Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 and includes the latest Galaxy AI features.
